    Great shoots!

Sexy Yellow: IMHO there are too much shadows for most shoots except Photo 8, which is probably just NICE! Still good though! :)

kw: thanks!! :) il learn n be better for my next shooot! :)

    paro : thank u thank u. i have a great model :)

  15. nalin  on June 9th, 2009

paro: the poses are supposed to be high-fashion-broken-doll-awkward sorts. hence it will not look very graceful la sayang. but thanks for the feedback. i’ll work on making it more flowy :)

    hey
I like the results you`ve got here, this photos really have potential so i really think you should have spent a bit more time on your post processing and check all the small details, your photos are mostly well composed and exposures are good, plus you`ve got a nice model with great curves in there so its worth a re editing process.

poses are awesome, great directions, angles are good, a bit extreme but good. maybe you should consider a bit of dodge and burn, to bring out the model a more, and the shadow idea is good but maybe not for this set of photos, it seems a bit too distracting, which is not good since main focus here is the model and you already have a background filled with elements, shadows usually work better with a simple background then you can see the magic of it, here it just seems messy, you might wanna consider giving some fill light to your the shots using levels, or curves to fix that.
another suggestion could be a selective color black and white, make every thing black and white and mask out a bright yellow top.

    Hot red
interesting concept and location i must say. but the lighting looks a bit harsh, probably because of the reflections of the lights on the side walls of the lift, specially on the fist two photos, and again i really think dodge and burn would help these photos a lot. i think you should try to keep the walls either white(kind of like the lest photos on the set) or go for a very dark and dirty looking walls and then brighten up the model specially the face.

    B&W
My favorite set of all, very good composition i should say, perfect lighting and poses are good as usual, you really have a way of working with your model which is great and important. things that you may consider to bring out the photos could be dodge and burn again, to make the skin a bit smoother and make the whole image stand out a bit more. and it would also emphasize a lot on your nice lighting.

overall i like the project and i really think you should do more and more, and also consider that photography is very subjective so what i or anyone might think is the right thing to do; is just based on personal experiences and ideas…

    all the best

    keep it up
